What is iQCoPay? iQCoPay is a marketplace for health care payments between patients and their doctors. iQCoPay allows patients to pay bills online, and spread large deductibles out over time with monthly payment plans, while allowing health care providers to accurately and effectively bill patients, and monitor their payment of balances. The product is focused on a core challenge within the health care industry — patients are confronted with larger deductibles and higher out of pocket costs, with no convenient option to pay. What We’re Trying to Do ? Our mission at iQCoPay is to create smarter ways to pay and manage the cost of health care. We are creating new ways to receive, pay and understand the patient bill. Why Did We Build iQCoPay? In early 2012, some members of our current team were working on providing financing alternatives for elective procedures when we began to become aware of a growing issue in the US health care model. Patient deductibles were rising, and the billing and payment system was not evolving to meet a growing need in the market for new payment options. Right around this time my Co-Founding Partner moved to Manhattan and purchased his first health insurance policy. Three weeks after his wife’s first visit to her doctor, they received an explanation of benefits for the care she received. Not a bill, just a document stating that they would be receiving a bill. A few weeks later an actual bill arrived for $400. It offered one payment option - send a check in the mail. This experience brought to our attention the desperate need for an overhaul of the fractured payment system in health care. Attempts at modernization to this point have been focused on equipping health care providers with tools to help collect more from their patients, creating fragmented billing and payment models from one practice to the next. iQCoPaywill bring affordable and convenient payments to patients for all of their care, all from a single account.

Provide technical support for Focus421.
