An internship (or co-op) at Foursquare requires at least 12 consecutive weeks of full-time work at either our New York (SoHo) or San Francisco (SoMa) headquarters. Support Intern New York, NY More info...

We're seeking an independent, smart, self-motivated, efficient, and hard-working intern who genuinely enjoys helping others. As a part of the Support Team, you’ll take on the responsibility of serving our business community of over 1.5 million verified merchants and broader user community of over 45 million. You’ll be on the front lines with our customers and have the opportunity to represent Foursquare to folks who want more information, are having trouble, or are simply interested in our business. You’ll help set-up (free) business accounts; field, investigate and solve queries; help moderate community content; and field questions via email and Twitter.

Day to day tasks will include responding to support requests within our support environment, escalating potential product issues within internal teams, assisting in improving the quality of venues and check-in specials in the Foursquare ecosystem, as well as assisting with new business onboarding. You'll also help our users navigate through the various apps and website, troubleshooting potential bugs that have been reported by users.

You should be an avid user of Foursquare, an excellent written communicator, and a natural problem solver.

We offer 4-month full-time, paid internships in our SoHo, NYC office. While there are no full time opportunities available after this internship, interns from our Support team have gone on to full-time opportunities at dynamic companies including Etsy, Kickstarter, Buzzfeed, Bonobos, and more!
