What is Gooru?

Gooru is a free search engine for learning developed by a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Teachers and students can use Gooru to search for rich collections of multimedia resources, digital textbooks, videos, games and quizzes created by educators in the Gooru community. Collections are aligned to standards and currently cover every 5th-12th grade math, science, history and economics topic, with more subjects coming soon.

Why work at Gooru?

Gooru is located in Silicon Valley, the heart of technological innovation and unofficial hub of start-up companies. But we are vastly different from all of the other start-ups in the Valley. While we are developing a high-tech product, we are, first and foremost, making education free and accessible to the world’s students.
