Based in San Francisco, California, SAY Media is in 11 markets in four countries, and has over 300 employees worldwide. The company has grown more than 100% per year, and is comprised of an eclectic group of thinkers and doers focused on building the modern media company, bridging technical, creative, and business disciplines. I work on the People/HR team in the areas of benefits administration, on-boarding and miscellaneous HR issues.
A civil and structural engineering firm, T.Y. Lin International’s headquarters are in San Francisco, CA with satellite offices around the nation and in Asia. Recruitment needs vary from engineers specializing in bridge, roadway/highway, traffic and aviation construction and design to marketing, IT and other corporate department needs. As the sole Recruiter, I worked closely with Hiring Managers and Executives to understand organization needs and candidate profiles. Also managed HR Intern who assisted with recruiting and HR administrative tasks. In addition to recruiting responsibilities, I also worked closely with Immigration Attorney to obtain and maintain work visas, complied with federal and state compliance reporting, and worked with Controller on Executive salary data audit and analysis.
Coordinated new hire processes and orientations, ensured proper enrollment of benefits. Assisted HR Supervisor with LOAs, Disability Payments, Open Enrollment and other tasks as needed. Worked with remote offices to ensure Federal and State compliance of labor laws.
