How does Readyforce work?

Step 1 - Position wanted

It all starts with a position. Companies contact Readyforce looking for help finding well-qualified candidates, often because they don't have the time, the staff or the expertise to do it themselves.

Step 2 - Understand the position

Readyforce evaluates the position and accepts assignments we know we can fill. Then we assign an Account Manager to lead off the project. He/she dives right in and learns from the client what the ideal candidate qualifications are. After the Account Manager knows what they are looking for we set out to find people who match their interests.

Step 3 - Explain the position

The Account Manager translates the client's wants and needs into something a job seeker can react to. The more you know, the better. We try not to write boring old job descriptions but instead provide the critical details about the position including the expected compensation, position location, required experience, etc. Often clients do videos to provide further insight into the company and the role. And our Account Mananger always does a video to explain the position and get people excited about the opportunity.

Step 4 - Share the position

Then we tell everyone we think would be a good fit about the position we are trying to fill! We reach out to our existing Readyforce members, we post on job boards, we use social media, we comb through resume databases, doing whatever it takes to encourage great people to apply to the position.

Step 5 - Review the applicants

Within a few days of launching a new position, the applications start to flow in and our most important work begins. Applications include a resume and a short questionnaire. Using the guidelines our client provides, our recruiting experts review most completed applications within 24 hours of submission.

Because 3 heads are better than 1, each application is reviewed by at least 3 recruiting experts to ensure that we don’t accidentally rule out a qualified candidate. The top applicants are then invited to interview with us. Historically, we invite between 10-20% of applicants to conduct a video interview.

Step 6 - Interviews via Video

Those top candidates are invited to interview at a time convenient for their schedule including evenings and weekends. Our industry leading video interview process saves candidates time by allowing anyone with a computer, internet and a webcam to interview directly with a recruiting expert. People without a suitable home interview set up, can go to one of our recruiting stations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We respect your time and keep the initial interview to around 20 minutes.

Step 7 - Review the interviews

Shortly after your video interview our Recruiting Experts will watch your interview and provide their comments on your candidacy to the Account Manager based on the criteria the client has for that specific position. And because we want to make sure we provide a 100% fair evaluation we have at least 3 different Recruiting Experts review your interview. Never again do you have to wonder if somehow the interviewer “just didn’t like you!” After your interview has been reviewed you will be updated on the status of the process within 5 business days. Of course, if we know something sooner we’ll let you know!

Step 8 - Meet the client

Based on the client’s needs our Account Manager presents the top candidates from the interview process. The client then selects between 4-8 candidates per position to invite to in person interviews. Of course along the way you will have ample opportunity to ask questions about the position, the company and how well you fit what they are looking for.

Step 9 - Get an offer

After in person interviews, the client makes their final decision. Things can slow down at this stage and we at Readyforce do everything we can to help the client make a rapid decision. Of course, we are available to provide any feedback or insights about the final choice.

Step 10 - Not every position fits

Repeat as required. As we all know, job hunting is not a one to one process. Companies look at hundreds of candidates and most job seekers apply for multiple positions. If for whatever reason you’re not a fit for a particular position, don’t despair. Your application and video interview are available for you to apply to other positions Readyforce is recruiting for. In fact, over 85% of Readyforce applicants apply to multiple jobs.

Good things come to those who wait

A successful recruiting process typically takes between 6-8 weeks from when we first advertise a position and a final offer is extended so plan accordingly. On average, our process is 40% faster than a traditional approach, but even so landing a great position is not as fast as say ordering a cheeseburger.
